Dr Katie Jones
I am a final-year General Paediatric Advanced Trainee with 15 years of clinical experience across all areas of general paediatrics. I completed my medical degree at Bond University in 2010 and have worked in multiple hospitals and services throughout Queensland.
I pride myself on clear communication and a thoughtful, collaborative, and family-centred approach to care. It is a privilege to work alongside families and to support children as they grow and develop. Each child is unique—I am passionate about understanding their strengths, challenges, and the everyday factors that influence their health and wellbeing. I have a particular interest in caring for children and young people with neurodevelopmental, behavioural and learning concerns as well as adolescent health needs.
Being a mother of five young children gives me a deep appreciation for the joys and hurdles of raising a family. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and spending time together with my family. I look forward to attaining Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in General Paediatrics in 2026.
