About the CDN

This is a unique opportunity to join a well established team. The Child Development Network is a private, Brisbane-based multidisciplinary health and education service. Our professional staff include Paediatricians, Psychologists, Therapists and Educators. We work with children (and their families) who have developmental, learning and behavioural difficulties and/or disabilities.

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Senior Administration Officer to lead our reception and office team.

Duties and responsibilities

In addition to the provision of administrative and reception services, this role involves team leader responsibilities. These include maintaining and improving the quality of our administrative services, along with providing an interface between the administration team and the CDN management.

Personal qualities

The successful applicant will enjoy working with a team that provides services to children and their families.

They will have the flexibility necessary to work successfully in a busy and often complex work environment, along with the capacity to remain calm under pressure.

The successful applicant will also be self-motivated, pay attention to detail, and take pride in their work. Their behaviour will reflect personal values that include respect, approachability, capacity for reflection, discretion and reliability.

Further information and application

This position is full-time (38hrs / week) with 4 weeks annual leave, 3 of which are taken over the Christmas/New Year period when the service closes.

Salary range is $60,000 to $65,000, depending on experience.
