Step 4. A Summary to Introduce Your ChildYour child moves to a new class, or has a new teacher. How can you introduce your child's special needs in the most efficient way? If you bring along a folder with many reports and letters, it may be overwhelming and difficult for the new teacher to understand what is going on. The idea of an introduction summary is to efficiently introduce your child, by including their strengths and weaknesses, as well as the areas of special need. You may wish to skip this step if you already have a document that introduces your child efficiently (such as a letter from your paediatrician). Putting Together An Introduction SummaryThe templates here are idea planners.
