Non-Attendence at appointments / Late Cancellations

At the CDN we do our best to provide confirmation and reminders for appointments- either by telephone or by email.

We have changed our policy regarding non-attendances (either with or without notification) for 2007, and will be applying this policy from February onwards.

Privacy

Privacy of clinical information is an important clinical and legal issue. At the CDN, we have a multi-disciplinary work environment where clinical information about children is potentially available to the health professionals and administrative staff who work here.

Difficult Family Situations

Some children are in family situations that make it very difficult for us to provide effective clinical services. In some situations we need to wait until the family related problems are sorted out first. These matters are covered in our policy.
